AMAZON LODGES

Sacha Lodge is found within a 5000-acre private ecological reserve in Ecuador's Amazon region, an accessible yet pristine rainforest sanctuary where you and your family may enjoy a true jungle adventure in safety and comfort.

Situated near the Napo River on a stunning black water lagoon, the lodge's facilities include a 250 m long canopy walkway, a treetop tower, several miles of jungle paths, canoes and access to a parrot lick.

NAPO WILDLIFE RESERVE

The Lodge is located by the Anangucocha lake, within the ancestral lands of the Anangu Quichua community and was built in conjunction with EcoEcuador, a non-profit organization dedicated to conservation efforts in Ecuador.

The lodge has been made using traditional materials. The architecture is designed to offer maximum privacy and comfort. Each of the 10 individual bungalows room has a lake and forest view from its private porch.

Highlights include giant river otters in the lake in front of the lodge and some of the best and most recently discovered parrot licks in the Amazon.

KAPAWI ECOLODGE & RESERVE

Kapawi is located near the Ecuadorian and Peruvian border, in the Southern Ecuadorian Amazon Basin on the Pastaza River, a major tributary of the Amazon. Kapawi is one of the most pristine and isolated points in the Amazon Basin accessed only by air.

The Lodge provides multiple activities in programs that are characterized by their flexibility: we allow you to design day by day, with the rest of your group and your guide, the most suitable program for your interests and desired activity level. Most itineraries include visits to the Achuar communities, hikes in the rain forest, canoeing, bird watching, and other activities. According to your interests and physical condition (but not your age!), we offer three alternative programs: easy, moderate, and difficult. These programs depend mainly on the distance and time you would like to spend on our trails; all other activities can be included in any program.

LA SELVA LODGE

La Selva jungle and rainforest lodge is in Primary Rainforest; a tropical garden of colourful blossoms, billowing ferns and giant trees providing a green sanctuary to rare and exotic wildlife with intriguing insects, unique species of birds and butterflies and magical sceneries. The rain stimulates the forest’s luxuriant growth and drenches the visitor who come to see the spectacle. In other words the Rainforest is La Selva’s reason of existence.
