 Day 1
Arrive Quito.
 Day 2
Quito city tour including visit to the equator.
 Day 3
Overnight trip to Mindo cloud forest. Discover cloud forest, rain forest and high treeless plateau in this wonderful valley. The reserve is home to 120 orchid species,  some of the world's rarest birds and a butterfly vivarium containing 25 species of butterfly. Birdlife International has designated the site an Important Bird Area.
 Day 4 - 5
Full day and night at Cotopaxi National Park; an ecological sanctuary of 89,000 acres surrounding the highest active volcano on Earth. Amongst the breathtaking scenery look out for hummingbirds and condors! We overnight at Hacienda San Agustin del Callo, a colonial farm house amidst snow-capped volcanoes.
 Day 6
Transfer to Sacha Amazon eco-lodge via flight and dugout canoe!
 Day 6-10
Sacha  Amazon Eco-lodge. Four days exploring the Amazon from this secluded lodge deep in the jungle. Experience their Macaw lick, observation tower, canopy walk, night walks, canoe rides and much more. Look out for 500 species of bird, pink dolphins, giant otters, caiman, tapirs, capybaras and more; a true Amazon experience!
 Day 10
Return Quito.
 Day 11
Fly Galapagos - transfer M/V Explorer.
 Day 11-18

 

Cruise the Galapagos Islands on M/V Galapagos Explorer II.

Accommodation -
5 nights in comfortable hotels, 1 night at a hacienda near Cotopaxi, 4 nights in an Amazon eco-lodge. 7 nights aboard M/V Galapagos Explorer II. All hotel / boat accommodation is on a twin share basis.
