TAILOR-MADE HOLIDAYS
We
arrived back this morning and have had a truly wonderful
time. Our personal highlights included hiking on the
glaciers, diving with sea lions and staying at Eolo lodge.
All
went without a hitch. The guides and ground staff were all
helpful and knowledgable.

Highlights

A brilliant
trip which went v. smoothly - ground arrangements fantastic -
guides, backup, accomm etc were unsurpassed.
Consensus was that the glacier was the highpoint (although the
wildlife on Valdes is snapping at its heels) - and while Los Notros
was pricey (but I have to say worth it in our eyes) - the location
was brilliant since we were able to make several trips to watch bits
tumble into the lake. They also fixed us up with a good trip to
Estancia Cristina, where we did hiking up to view the Uppsala
Glacier.
Estancia Rincon Chico on the Peninsula was brilliant - meant we did
not have too much driving to see the main bits between days and we
were able to go down to the beach at the Estancia and sit watching
the elephant seals/pups at a very close distance.

"So many
good points it is impossible to pick one highlight! Probably our
trek through the jungle to the lost lake! The lodge was also very
impressive and had a lovely swimming pool, and lying in the hammocks
was a great way to relax after the Inca Trail.
We were treated
as a private group during our whole stay, with our own guide and own
itinerary, which made our whole trip very personal.
I would recommend
Peru to anyone looking for an exciting and adventurous holiday of a

The guides
at the lodge were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and
friendly. The highlight of the trip had to be getting within a
foot of a 2.5m caiman (alligator) in a canoe! A very good trip
as said already, I would definitely recommend it to others.
