WHALE WATCH PATAGONIA

Duration: 12 days / 13 nights
Countries Covered: Argentina
Starting Point: Buenos Aires
End Point: Buenos Aires

This trip is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the very best of Argentina at an unbeatable price.

Starting and ending in Buenos Aires, the Paris of Latin America, we will have plenty of time to explore this sophisticated and cosmopolitan city.

Flying into Patagonia, we will visit the World Heritage site of Peninsula Valdes, famous for it’s extraordinary wealth of marine mammals, especially the hundreds of Southern Right Whales that gather just off shore to breed at this time of year. We take a small boat to get as close as possible to these mammoth creatures. Dolphins are a common sighting and elephant seals and sea lions crowd the wild shores where they are hunted by Valdes’ famous pod of self-beaching Orcas.

Further South, amongst stunning Andean scenery, we will visit the Perito Moreno Glacier as it grinds its way off the Southern Continental Icecap.

Flying into the steamy North, we spend two days in Argentina and Brazil marvelling at the vast Iguaçu Falls, set within beautiful subtropical forests and claimed by many to be the most spectacular on Earth.

The trip ends with a final day for shopping and relaxation in Buenos Aires.
